An electronic cigarette, or e-cigarette as they are often called, is simply a battery powered electronic device that holds a liquid containing nicotine. The liquid is heated until it produces a vapor that is then inhaled and exhaled. While nicotine is derived from tobacco, an electronic cigarette does not contain any tobacco and is therefore free from smoke, odor, ash and tar.

Apollo’s refillable electronic cigarettes consist of a rechargeable battery and a clearomizer or cartomizer that you fill with e-liquid. Once you have filled the clearomizer and screwed it on to the battery, you simply press the button on the battery and then inhale through the mouthpiece. The coil head (atomizer) in the clearomizer will activate and heat up the liquid which releases a smoke-like vapor.

Apollo electronic cigarettes are designed for any adult who smokes or uses nicotine products and those interested in vaping a variety of different flavors (either with or without nicotine). Apollo electronic cigarettes are not intended for use by persons under the legal smoking age, women who are pregnant or breast feeding, or persons with or at risk for heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or those taking medication for depression or asthma. The e-liquid products contain nicotine, which is highly addictive and habit forming. If you have a demonstrated allergy or sensitivity to nicotine, propylene glycol, or any combination of inhalants, consult your physician before using any Apollo products. This product is sold purely for recreational purposes. It is not a smoking cessation product and does not treat, diagnose, or cure any disease, physical ailment, or condition. Nicotine can be toxic if inhaled or ingested in large doses and may cause irritation to eyes and skin if exposed. Please wash with soap and water upon contact. For any Apollo rechargeable battery, simply push the button 5 times in quick succession to turn the battery on and then do the same to turn it off. Once turned on, you can push and hold the button while you inhale. You should always turn off your device when it is not in use to avoid accidental activation.

While an electronic cigarette does not produce the same harmful smoke as tobacco cigarettes, each state, city and/or establishment may set their own rules. Therefore, we recommend that you check before using your e-cigarette in any place where tobacco cigarettes are banned, and we also ask you to consider those around you and their wishes.

Since there is no combustion with electronic cigarettes, many of the odors associated with traditional tobacco smoking are not present with Apollo e-cigarettes. There is sometimes a slight odor associated with the e-liquid flavor, but it dissipates almost immediately meaning your clothes, hair, car and home will not smell like cigarette smoke.

Apollo offers many different models of batteries. All of our electronic cigarettes and personal vaporizers use lithium-ion batteries that are rechargeable. Many of our batteries feature both 510 and eGo threading which makes them compatible with almost any clearomizer or cartomizer on the market.

Battery charge capacity is rated in milliamp hours (mAh). As a general rule of thumb, it's safe to assume that for every 100mAh you can get roughly 1 hour of use time. (i.e. our Apollo Luminous EVOD batteries have a 900mAh rating. These batteries will last for about 9 hours of use time.) However, please note that actual use time between charges may vary.

The LED button (or light at the tip) on your battery will flash when it is time to recharge it.

There is no limit on the number of times you can recharge your Apollo battery. Most batteries last from 6 months to a year before you need to replace them.

Apollo offers many different models of clearomizers. Our starter kits usually come with either a CE4 clearomizer or an EVOD clearomizer. Both the CE4 and the EVOD clearomizers are designed specifically to work with the Apollo Luminous style batteries.

To fill your CE4 clearomizer, unscrew the mouthpiece and fill the clearomizer with liquid by tilting it and filling it up to the 1.6ml line. Be sure to avoid the center tube while filling your clearomizer. Screw your mouthpiece back onto the clearomizer but avoid over-tightening as that can occasionally cause leakage.

To fill your EVOD clearomizer (and most other bottom coil clearomizers), unscrew the bottom base and fill the clearomizer from the bottom. We recommend that you hold your electronic cigarette upside down when you unscrew the EVOD clearomizer from the battery, thereby avoiding any leakage. Before using your EVOD clearomizer for the first time, you should check to be sure the atomizer (replacement head) is screwed on tightly to the base of the clearomizer but avoid over-tightening as that can occasionally cause leakage.

The coil heads or Classic (non-replaceable col heads) clearomisers lasts couple of days to 2 weeks time greatly depends on usage. It's the time to replace it when it tastes burning, produces little vapour, or leaking. 

Once a clearomizer reaches the end of its life span, the center atomizer will begin to burn out. Your clearomizer will start to produce less vapor, and will eventually either leak and/or taste burnt and/or cause your battery to flash and no longer work. If any of the aforementioned things occur, it is time to replace your clearomizer.
